You may be wondering where all the other pages are, but they don’t exist and I don’t think that they ever will. What’s in there covers most of the quirks that I wanted to share without getting into the weeds of it all.

I feel lucky to have some of the positives of ADHD and how my brain works in the right conditions. But the truth is, ADHD can put you at odds with other people’s norms and expectations. Navigating that can be exhausting.

Despite it being pretty well established, there are still so many misperceptions about ADHD: that it’s a mental health condition, a superpower, an excuse for chosen behaviour, even that it’s ‘trendy’. So I understand why perfectly logical ‘fixes’ from a neurotypical point of view often get applied to it.

I’m no expert on ADHD and certainly not qualified to be giving advice about it. My guide is a snapshot of my experience and what I’ve found can help avoid some of the pitfalls. It probably doesn’t apply equally to anyone else you know who is (or isn’t) diagnosed with it. I’m happy to chat with anyone about my experience - you know where to get hold of me.
